Paneer Tikka Pizza

Tomato- 1 large

Onions- 2 large

Green Pepper- 1 large

Green Chillies- 6

Paneer- One block (about 400 gms)

Ginger Garlic Paste- 2 Tsps

Jeera- 1 tspn

Coriander Powder- 2 tsps

Cumin Powder- 2 tsps

Garam Masala Powder- 2 tsps

Red Chilli Powder- 2 tsps

Kasuri Methi- 2 tsps

Ground Black Pepper- 2 tsps

Salt- Per taste

Turmeric- A pinch

Ready made pizza base(s)

Grated Cheese (I used a mix of Mozzarella and Cheddar)

Chopped Cilantro (for garnish)

Lemon (a dash once the pizza is done)

For the Tikka sauce- Chop an onion, a tomato and three green chillies. Add some oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add the onions and fry for 2 mins. Then add some salt, turmeric and ginger garlic paste. Once the onions are cooked, add the tomatoes and saute for 2 mins. Add all the masala powders and kasuri methi. Cook for a while and remove from heat. Make a fine paste once the mixture cools down.

Seasoning the Paneer- In a pan, add the same dry masalas that we used for the gravy and pepper powder and dry roast the Paneer until lightly browned.

Assemble: Spread a generous portion of the sauce on the base. Arrange the onions, green peppers, the remaining green chillies and paneer on the sauce. Drizzle a generous quantity of cheese on the base. Bake in an oven that has been preheated for 450F for 10 mins. Once done, garnish with cilantro and squeeze some lemon juice on the top. 😀
